The neighborhood is called Región 15, which happens to be the newest area under development in Tulum. La Veleta is a 5-minute drive away, downtown is 10-15 minutes by car, and the beach is 15-20 minutes by car. To get around, you can use taxis, but it might be more convenient to have your own mode of transportation (car, scooter, bicycle). There is free parking available 24 hours a day both at the building and on the street. La Veleta is one of the first and original residential areas in Tulum, where the jungle remains lush and vibrant. The roads are still rustic and unpaved, preserving the authentic Tulum atmosphere. It is a very peaceful and safe place to walk around. If you love nature, this is the ideal spot: you'll be surrounded by tall jungle, and you might even be lucky enough to spot some monkeys! Tulum's cell network isn’t the best, so make sure to plan ahead, as internet access may be limited to Wi-Fi networks.
